BuckScout Support

BuckScout is a private app for hunting clubs: a shared lease map, stand check-ins, sighting reports, buck profiles, harvest log and club chat.

Getting started

1. Install BuckScout and sign in with your email. We email you a 6-digit code (check spam if you don't see it).
2. To join your club, enter the invite code your club admin gave you on the Join a club screen.
3. Starting a new club? Tap Create club, then use Edit map to draw your lease and place stands. You become the club admin.

How to delete your account

1. Open the Club tab and tap Delete my account.
2. Read the summary of what will be removed, then type DELETE to confirm.
3. Tap Permanently delete my account, then confirm once more when the app asks if you're sure.

If you are the only admin of a club that has other members, make another member an admin first. If you are the only member of a club, that club is deleted too. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your iPhone's Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. You can also email support@buckscoutapp.com from the address you sign in with, and we will delete it within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed and what stays with the club.

Common questions

I didn't get my sign-in code. Check your spam or promotions folder, wait a minute and tap Send code again. Make sure the email address is spelled right.

Where do I find an invite code? Club admins see it on the Club tab under Invite members, and can make a new one there.

How does the subscription work? One subscription per club, bought by a club admin in the iPhone app from Club › Subscription. New clubs get a 14-day free trial. Members never pay. Manage or cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

How much does it cost? It's priced by club size and billed yearly: up to 5 members $29.99, up to 10 $49.99, up to 25 $79.99, up to 50 $119.99, and over 50 $149.99 a year. See Pricing.

Does it work on Android? The Android app is coming soon. Android members will use the club's subscription; subscriptions are bought on iPhone.

The map won't show my location. Allow location access for BuckScout in your phone's Settings. BuckScout only uses location while the app is open.

Can I use the map without signal? Yes. On the Club tab, download the lease map for offline use before you head out.

Someone posted something inappropriate. Long-press or tap the … on the post or message to report it or block the member. Reports go to your club admins.
