BuckScout Terms of Use

Who can use BuckScout

BuckScout is a private app for members of a hunting club. You need an invite from your club to join. You must be at least 13 years old, and you are responsible for what you post from your account.

No objectionable or abusive content

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post anything that is harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, violent toward people, illegal, spam, or that shares someone else’s private information. Do not post photos of illegal take or other wildlife violations.

Reporting and blocking

You can report any chat message, scrapbook post, comment, sighting note or harvest entry, and you can block a member so you no longer see their posts. Reports go to your club’s admins.

Admins may remove content and members

Club admins review reports and may remove content or remove a member from the club, without notice, when they believe these terms were broken. The developer may also remove content or accounts that break these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You let your club’s members see and use it inside the club. Sightings, sits and harvests are club records: if you delete your account they stay in the club’s logs without your name.

Hunt legally and safely

BuckScout is a scouting and record-keeping tool. Maps, stand locations, weather, Hunt Score and other information can be wrong or out of date. Follow your state’s wildlife agency rules (in Texas, Texas Parks and Wildlife), your club’s rules and safe hunting practices. You are responsible for your own hunting decisions.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Club tab → Delete my account.

No warranty

The app is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for losses from using it.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we will update them and the date above, and the app may ask you to accept them again. Questions: support@buckscoutapp.com.
